Reymi Then Luna
Young man passionate about research, technologies and their teaching. From an early age, he showed a high interest and understanding of engineering; pursuing studies and technical work in Electronics in 2002. Later, in 2004, he began to study Electronic Engineering at the Technological University of Santiago (UTESA) and in 2019, he started a master's degree in Mathematics at his alma mater university.
In 2002, he began his working life and, over the years, he has been gaining experience in different technological areas, such as: home appliance repair, telecommunications and internet, biomedical, design and construction of electronic equipment, as well as education in engineering and technologies. Currently, and since 2014, he works as a professor of engineering at the Technological University of Santiago and, from 2019, as a Technology Professor at the Iberia Institute.
Since 2019, he has been a member of the National Research Career in the Dominican Republic; he also belongs to the research group GITECI-UTESA since 2016 and, in addition, since 2018 he is a member of the scientific advisory board and reviewer of the Engineering Journal of UTESA. Throughout his professional life, he has been making publications and participating as a speaker in congresses, both national and international, on different research topics related to education and the relevance of the use of appropriate tools for this.
Reymi Then is the ideologist and co-founder (together with Ludwing Hernandez) of LAB-VEE Educational TechMakers and is currently responsible for the design and production of new technologies, hardware design and production, as well as the design and production of academic content.
Ludwing Hernández Andino
Eng. Ludwing A. Hernández Andino, Industrial Engineer graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM). In 2009, he completed a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on manufacturing processes and 3D printing at Utah State University, United States. In 2016, he completed a Master's Degree in Electronic Commerce at UNAPEC, Santo Domingo.
He has 15 years of experience in the design and improvement of processes, using specialized quality tools and "Lean Manufacturing", using technology as a means of dissemination of information and training in administrative processes, customer service, information technology and communication, among others. Thus, increasing the efficiency of the company and the satisfaction of external and internal customers.
He also earned the Continuous Improvement Certification endorsed by INFOTEP and INTEC named: Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, Statistical Process Control, Daily Work Management and Quality Assurance. He completed the Diploma "Training of Tutors in Virtual Environments" at INFOTEP Virtual, as well as diploma courses in Instructional Design, Design for e-Learning in IT Madrid and Storyboard Design in Crehana.
As CEO of Opex Solutions, he leads a multidisciplinary team of specialists in educational technology and experts in the development of content for digital education, instructional designers, pedagogues, graphic designers, and animators; providing services to companies, academic centers, and institutions in general.
