Measuring or generation instruments
The Multimeter
A multimeter, also called a tester or multitester, is an instrument used to measure electrical quantities such as current, voltage, continuity and resistance. So by means of a selector knob it is possible to select one of these measurement options.
The Voltmeter
A voltmeter is a measuring instrument used to measure the difference in electrical potential, also known as voltage, between two points in an electrical current. Voltage is known as the electric potential energy per unit charge, it is responsible for conducting a current from one electron to another electron.
The Ammeter
The ammeter is an instrument used to measure current in order to know its value and direction. This uses an analog/digital converter to measure the voltage drop in a resistor through which the current to be measured flows. The reading of the converter is read by a microprocessor that performs the calculations to present the value of the circulating electric current on a numerical display.
The Signal Generator
This is a piece of equipment that is used to generate different forms of signals that can be analog or digital, through which it is possible to evaluate the behavior of different devices when they are energized with these signals.
The Oscilloscope
The oscilloscope is a piece of equipment used to visualize the shape of electrical signals or simply to see how the accumulation and/or release of electrons occurs in a voltage source.
Voltage Sources
Voltage sources are devices that can supply the electrical energy necessary to run the electrical or electronic equipment that we use.
